Joint Decisions of Inventory Optimization and Order Allocation for Omni-Channel Multi-Echelon Distribution Network

چکیده

Firms with omni-channel multi-echelon distribution networks (OMDC) integrate all of their sale channels and echelons to achieve an effective matching multi-type orders a shared inventory. However, the high operational cost caused by insufficient use inventory resources unreasonable order allocation restricts sustainable development firms. To this end, joint decisions optimization (IO) (OA) are explored cost-efficient operations. Specifically, from perspective IO, integrated policy is proposed for online offline sharing within nodes lateral transshipment between nodes; aspect OA, mechanism designed minimum under influence multiple factors (inventory replenishment, holding, delivery distance time) among different echelon nodes. A model therefore developed subsequently solved using Genetic Algorithm (GA). Results obtained show that strategy has better performance regards customer service level also more than alternative strategies. The provides relatively novel approach realize flexible systems.

Real-time Allocation Decisions in Multi-echelon Inventory Control

Inventory control is a crucial activity for many companies. Given the recent advances in information technology, there have never been greater opportunities for coordinated inventory control across supply chain facilities. But how do we design efficient control methods and policies that take advantage of the detailed information that is now becoming available? This doctoral thesis investigates ...

Location and allocation decisions for multi-echelon supply chain network - A multi-objective evolutionary approach

This paper aims at multi-objective optimization of single-product for four-echelon supply chain architecture consisting of suppliers, production plants, distribution centers (DCs) and customer zones (CZs). The key design decisions considered are: the number and location of plants in the system, the flow of raw materials from suppliers to plants, the quantity of products to be shipped from plant...

Joint Optimization of Distribution Network Design and Two-Echelon Inventory Control with Stochastic Demand and CO2 Emission Tax Charges

This study develops an optimization model to integrate facility location and inventory control for a three-level distribution network consisting of a supplier, multiple distribution centers (DCs), and multiple retailers. The integrated model addressed in this study simultaneously determines three types of decisions: (1) facility location (optimal number, location, and size of DCs); (2) allocati...

A Multi-echelon Inventory System with Supplier Selection and Order Allocation under Stochastic Demand

This article addresses the development of an integrated supplier selection and inventory control problems in supply chain management by developing a mathematical model for a multi-echelon system. In particular, a buyer firm that consists of one warehouse and N identical retailers wants to procure a product from a group of potential suppliers, which may require different price, ordering cost, le...
